CdSiO₃: Tb³⁺, Re³⁺ samples enrich the color of long-lasting afterglow phosphors in CdSiO₃ host.

Both the afterglow intensity and the lasting time are greatly enhanced for the co-doped samples, especially for Cd_0.96SiO₃: ${\mathrm{Tb}}_{0.03}^{3+}$, ${\mathrm{La}}_{0.01}^{3+}$.

Introduction of Re³⁺ (Re³⁺=Gd³⁺, Y³⁺, La³⁺) ions, which deepens the depth (E_t) or increase density(n₀) of traps, greatly improved the afterglow properties of CdSiO₃: Tb³⁺.
