We model trade theory can quantify the Ricardian comparative advantage considering energy and environmental efficiency. We analyze the environment-related efficiency and export performance empirically. The result shows that the efficiency can be a source of the comparative advantage in industries. The efficiency has a smaller impact on export performance in relatively less footloose industries.
