Equilibrium of Different Water Types of the Tomsk Region, Western Siberia, with Carbonate and Aluminosilicate Minerals
文摘
A short review on the chemical composition of natural water of the Tomsk region, Western Siberia, is presented. It is shown that the chemical composition of investigated area strongly changes from the atmospheric precipitation to the groundwater. Thus, different types of water become more alkaline and are enriched with minerals. The studied water generally contains high concentration of Si and organic matter. Diagrams of water saturation have been determined with respect to carbonate and aluminosilicate minerals. It is shown that chemical composition of groundwater is a product of water-rock interaction that is resulted under conditions of low water exchange and humid climate, and has lasted a geologically long time.
