Hydrolysates from tilapia, casein, and pea, exhibit immunomodulatory activity. Tilapia hydrolysate enhances innate immunity by promoting IL-1β and COX-2. Casein and pea hydrolysates suppress LPS-induced pro-inflammatory gene expression. Hydrolysates exhibit stronger anti-inflammatory activity than intact proteins.
