Biochar amendment significantly enhanced sorption affinity of the soil with low organic matter for atrazine. The enhancement of sorption was mainly dependent on the application percentage of biochar, solution pH, and environmental temperature. The mobility strength of pesticide was determined by application rates of biochar.
