The adsorption mechanism of BSA on HA has been studied by FTIR-ATR spectrometry using an IR spectral subtraction method. The peptide protein of BSA seems to be activated by the inductive effect of Ca2 + via the rearrangement of hydrogen bonding. The reshaped BSA seems to react strongly on HA, resulting in a profound impact on HA biomineralization.
