Dense La-Mo-Si coating was deposited by SAPS with various spraying powers. Spraying power affected the micro-structure of LMS coating evidently. Spraying power affected the interface bonding between LMS and SiC coating. An active oxidation mechanism with grain boundary diffusion was proposed. Mechanical behaviors of LMS coating are significantly affected by spraying power.
