A novel Software Intelligent System (SIS) is developed to perform audiological test without additional hardware requirements. SIS is developed to assess the degree of hearing loss and to suggest suitable hearing-aid gain values for impaired subjects. The trial-and-error time spent by audiologists and impaired subjects arriving at the solutions is significantly reduced. The findings suggest that the SIS could be used to perform mass audiological screening and gain recommendation for impaired. The proposed SIS is helpful for audiologists to identify the degree of hearing loss and for quick hearing-aid fixation.
