Experimental and numerical assessment of cool-roof impacts in a School building.

Hourly indoor air temperature below cool roof is reduced by 1–2.6 °C in July.

On a warm summer operating day PMV is reduced by at least 24% below the cool roof.

At least 18% reduction of cooling energy demand under 12% heating penalty in winter.

At least 1.8% annual energy savings obtained when heat pumps are used for cooling.
