Radial mean strength trend in a soil-cement column has limited effect on normalized overall strength of the column. Spatial correlation in strength has a great effect on overall strength. Random finite element method is capable of accounting for strength non-uniformity. Overall strength can be characterized as a normal random variable. Formulas were proposed to predict specific strength.
