Effective data collection is difficult for impulse response modelling methodology. Differentiation with step change derivative methodology amplifies background noise. Subinterval size for numerical integration significantly affected modelling result. Each methodology can output a different hydraulic model for the same reactor. Methodology choice could ultimately be dictated by available equipment and cost.
