Long-term and enduring suicidal ideation among veterans with CSR. Mutual simultaneous variation of PTSD and suicidal ideation over time. Suicidal ideation (SI) decreased 20-years after the war, even among those with PTSD symptoms. Gradual increase in SI after the war, with highest levels after two years. Veterans with delayed and chronic PTSD are more vulnerable to increase in SI two years after CSR.
