Influence of multiwalled carbon nanotubes and sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate on bioaccumulation and translocation of pyrene and 1-methylpyrene in maize (Zea mays) seedlings
Little or no 1-CH3-pyrene was translocated to the edible parts of maize seedlings. SDBS at 100 mg/kg significantly enhanced root pyrene bioaccumulation in F1 and F2. Root 1-CH3-pyrene bioaccumulation was insignificantly affected by SDBS in F1 and F2. An increase in amendment level of MW sharply decreased bioaccumulation of pyrene. 1-CH3-pyrene bioaccumulation steeply decreased with increasing MW concentration.
