We model the crustal velocity and strain rate fields on Tenerife Island (Canary Islands, Spain). We use continuous GPS observations from a permanent GNSS network. We observe subsidence in the proximities of the Cañadas–Teide–Pico Viejo complex. The strains exhibit E-W compression in the central volcanic complex and SW-NE extension towards the Northeast ridge.
