Utility of salt-marsh foraminifera, testate amoebae and bulk-sediment δ13C values as sea-level indicators in Newfoundland, Canada

Foraminifera are sea-level indicators, but high-marsh assemblages vary among sites. Testate amoebae assemblages are likely affected by preservation bias. Sediment δ13C values cannot distinguish between salt-marsh and freshwater samples. We produce 3 Holocene sea-level index points using a simple, multi-proxy approach.
