Absorbing formation mechanism of AlP on TiB2 substrate and their application as high-efficiency nucleating agent in Al-45Si alloy

TiB2@AlP coupling particle shows better refining effect on Al-Si alloy than AlP. By atom-by-atom adsorption, P atoms gather on TiB2 to form TiB2@AlP particles. The P atoms trend on the Ti-terminated interface rather than B-terminated one.
