Extremum seeking algorithm was used to find and track the maximum power point of MFC. Typical MPPT algorithms cannot sustain operation if voltage overshoot happens. A novel algorithm that avoids the voltage overshoot is proposed. Continuous energy harvesting in optimal operating condition can be achieved.
