We report a rare pediatric surgical case with mature teratoma in the pancreas head. She had developed postoperative superior mesenteric artery syndrome (SMAS). Early surgery for SMAS was justified in presented case. She underwent a modified transposition procedure, “switching jejunojejunostomy”. This is the first report of this new surgical approach for postoperative SMAS.
