nsEPs exposure caused PIP2 hydrolysis and initiate intracellular signaling. PIP2 depletion follows plasma membrane nanoporation and modulates ion channels. nsEPs-induced intracellular PIP2 signaling is electric field dose-dependent. nsEPs dependent IP3 production is critical for electro-sensitization.
