Early-age shrinkage development of ultra-high-performance concrete under heat curing treatment

A novel apparatus is developed to investigate the early-age shrinkage of UHPC during heat curing. The early-age shrinkage of UHPC after 48 h of heat curing is approximately 450 με. The early-age shrinkage decreases with the increase of longitudinal steel reinforcement ratio. Heat curing can accelerate chemical hydration of UHPC to generate dense microstructures.
