An ultrasonic tomography sensor array was used to reconstruct 3D profiles of gas bubble in a chemical bubble column.

It consists of 32-ultrasonic sensors and was formed into a single plane array.

Several static and dynamic profiles experiment were conducted to evaluate the performance of the array.

Experimental results showed that the single plane sensor array could be used for 3D profiles reconstruction of gas bubbles.
