lncRNAs have emerged with key roles in the regulation of protein coding genes. New 425 lncRNAs were characterized for Salmo salar. lncRNAs and endocytosis and iron homeostasis genes were strongly correlated. An interplay between lncRNAs-genes during bacterial infection is proposed.
