We introduce 3D mapping of LV wall thickness using a self-gated MR sequence for 11.7-T MRI. The study demonstrates a protocol for the 3D mapping of regional wall thicknesses at the end-diastole and end-systole. The method provides a simple and accurate method for the quantification of LV function and visualization of wall thicknesses.
