Shock waves solution of nonlinear partial differential equation system by using the ansatz method

In this paper, we obtained the shock waves solutions of homogeneous KdV, the coupled potential KdV and the Novikov–Veselov equations. By using an ansatz in the form of tanhp functions, we obtain the shock waves solution for the considered model. The physical parameters in the solutions of ansatz method; free parameters and velocity are obtained as functions of the dependent model coefficients.
