Ratiometric fluorescence nanosensor for selective and visual detection of cadmium ions using quencher displacement-induced fluorescence recovery of CdTe quantum dots-based hybrid probe
A ratiometric fluorescence nanosensor is developed for Cd2+ detection. One can recognize for Cd2+ by the naked-eye with high resolution under UV lamp. This nanosensor has a wide concentration range and a low detection limit. This nanosensor features to distinctly discriminate between Cd2+ and Zn2+. The detection method has the advantages of simplicity and convenience.
