A gas evolution study of Ti(C,N) powders (CO and N2) via model alloys using mass spectroscopy. The gas evolution occurs during linear heat treatment up to sintering temperature (1500 °C). The samples were prepared specifically in order to highlight the influence of powder properties. Correlation between powder properties and gas evolution are shown.
