Highly ductile nanocomposites were fabricated by dispersing uniform-sized SNSs into PPOH.

The high ductility was achieved through improved matrix-filler interfacial adhesion via hydrogen bonding.

Elastic modulus and yield strength of PPOH/SNS were improved at decreased SNS particle sizes.
