The GMR effect is investigated theoretically in a δ-doped magnetically confined semiconductor heterostructure.
The magnetoresistance ratio can be controlled by the δ-doping in the device.
Such a structure can be employed as a structurally controllable GMR device for magnetoelectronics applications.
