The Dong Co granodiorites (DGs) are I-type tholeiitic–calc-alkaline granitoids that formed during the early Late Jurassic.
The parental magmas of the DGs were derived from the partial melting of subducted oceanic crust.
Many of the bathyal to abyssal deposits in the accretionary wedge were involved in the formation of the DGs.
The accretionary wedge on the Southern Qiangtang terrane has grown sufficiently large during the Late Jurassic.
