The synthetic method of N2H4–SH–Fe3O4/o-MWCNTs was explored.
Amino and thiol groups were grafted on the surface of Fe3O4/o-MWCNTs.
The maximum adsorption capacity of N2H4–SH–Fe3O4/o-MWCNTs for lead was 199.6 mg/g.
The adsorption kinetics can be best described by pseudo-second order kinetics.
