AgIO3/WO3 composite was fabricated by a successive hydrothermal-deposition method. The visible-light-driven AgIO3/WO3 catalyst exhibited excellent photocatalytic properties. A possible mechanism for the improved photocatalytic activity of AgIO3/WO3 was proposed.
