OSL dating is applied to Holocene tidal flat deposits from the South Yellow Sea. OSL characteristics and resulting ages of two quartz fractions are compared. Post-IR OSL and post-IR POSL were used for quartz samples contaminated by feldspar. We highlight a combination of two quartz fractions/multi-protocols for OSL dating. Three stages of SR variation during the Holocene were identified in the study core.
