Spatio-temporal distribution of classic and emerging POPs along Yellow Sea reviewed. Hot spots for POPs pollution and associated sources or local activities characterized. Sources of target POPs were independent each other both in local and national scale. OCPs, PCBs and PFASs were widely contaminated groups in China and South Korea.
