Liquid-phase exfoliated fluorographene is randomly stuck on epoxy coating surface. Stuck fluorographene confers superior superhydrophobicity on epoxy coating. Epoxy coating dotted with fluorographene displays enhanced protection function. A facile and effective strategy is extended to fabricate superhydrophobic coating.
