Background sites exhibits high PM2.5 concentration during haze episodes. Continuous PM monitoring indicates formation of nucleation mode and growth to Aitken and accumulation mode. Meteorological conditions is mainly responsible for pollution accumulation. Neutralizing ratio in fine particle (PM2.1) higher than that in coarse particle (PM2.1–10).
