Densities and viscosities of glycine, mallcaps">l-alanine, mallcaps">l-valine, mallcaps">l-threonine, and mallcaps">l-arginine in aqueous solutions of (0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, and 1.0) mol路kg鈥? mannitol have been measured in the temperature range of (293.15 to 323.15) K under atmospheric pressure; then the measured densities and viscosities of experimental systems were correlated. These data were further used to calculate the apparent molar volumes (V), the limiting partial molar volumes (V0), the limiting partial molar volumes of transfer (螖trV0), the viscosity B-coefficients, and the free energies of activation per mole of solvent (螖渭10鈮?/sup>) and solute (螖渭20鈮?/sup>). The results were interpreted through solute鈥搒olute interaction and solute鈥搒olvent interaction on the basis of the cosphere overlap model and transition state theory.
