Densities and Viscosities of Diaminotoluene with Water, Ethanol, Propan-1-ol, and Butan-1-ol from (293.15 to 333.15) K
文摘
Densities and viscosities for binary mixtures of 4-methylbenzene-1,3-diamine and 2-methylbenzene-1,3-diamine in solvents of water, ethanol, propan-1-ol, and butan-1-ol were measured at T = (293.15, 303.15, 313.15, 323.15, and 333.15) K under atmospheric pressure. The measured densities and viscosities of the studied systems were correlated by the Guimar茫es鈥檚 equation and the extended Jones-Dole equation, respectively. Apparent molar volumes (V蠁) and the activation energies of viscous flow (Ea) were calculated by experimental results, and V蠁 was correlated by a linear equation to obtain the limiting apparent molar volumes at infinite dilutions (V蠁0) and experimental slope (SV). The V蠁, V蠁0, and SV values have been qualitatively used to interpret the solute鈥搒olvent and solute鈥搒olute interactions via hydrogen bond and hydrophobic hydration interactions between component molecules, which origins from the structural factors.
