The text presents data from research on the reduction of the adsorption reactivity of calcined limestone used for capturing sulfur dioxide from fluidized-bed boiler flue gases with biomass and brown coal co-combustion. It has been proven that biomass significantly influences this process negatively. A higher consumption of limestone leads to increased emissions of carbon dioxide.
