The molecular and crystal structures of a series of fluoro-aniline complexes of general formula trans-[PdCl₂(NH₂Ar^F)₂], with Ar^F = C₆H₃-2,3-F₂ (1), C₆H₃-2,5-F₂ (2), C₆H₃-3,4-F₂ (3), C₆H₃-3,5-F₂ (4), C₆H₂- 2,3,4-F₃ (5), C₆H₂-2,4,5-F₃ (6), C₆H₂-2,4,6-F₃ (7), were determined. Analysis of these structures demonstrate that robust reliable supramolecular synthons are obtainedthrough Pd-N-H···Cl-Ph hydrogen-bond interactions. The possible influence of the polarization of the different Ar^F aromaticrings in the arrangement of the molecules within the hydrogen-bonded structures is discussed.
