pyridines and then extended to organo
metallic
pyridines, yielding cluster-cored stars, and to dendronic
polyallyl-and
polyferrocenyl
pyridines, yielding cluster-cored
polyallyl and
polyferrocenyl dendri
mers and dendrons. The orange
pyridine-substituted clusters, whose
pyridine
protons are deshielded in
1H NMR (a
practical tool for characterization),are air-stable and ther
mally stable with si

pyridines, light- and air-sensitive with organo
metallic
pyridines, andair-fragile and ther
mally fragile with large dendronized
pyridines.
