Using a template method, we have synthesized hybrid Pd/La_0.7Ca_0.3-xSr_xMnO₃ (LCSMO) materials, which were evidenced by SEM, TEM, X-ray powder diffraction, and magnetization measurements. It was found that the Pd moment was induced by the rough LCSMO oxide, which was quantitatively analyzed. Our results provided direct evidence for ferromagnetism of nanosized Pd materials by contact with the perovskite manganite.
