Racemates of the diphenolic metabolites (卤)-tylopilusin A (1) and (卤)-tylopilusin B (2) were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Tylopilus eximius. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analyses (1D and 2D NMR data and ROESY correlations) and X-ray crystallography. Each racemate was separated into its individual enantiomers, and electronic circular dichroism calculations were used to assign the absolute configuration of (+)- and (鈭?-tylopilusin A (1) and (+)- and (鈭?-tylopilusin B (2).
