New experimental data on the thermal conductivities of the methyl esters methyl oleate and methyl linoleate in the liquid phase are reported that allow for the development of correlations. These new experimental data, covering a temperature range of 302鈥?08 K for methyl oleate and 302鈥?05 K for methyl linoleate at a pressure range of 0.1鈥?2 MPa, are used with estimated dilute gas values to develop correlations for the thermal conductivity. The experimental data reported here have an uncertainty of less than 1%. On the basis of the uncertainty of and comparisons to the present data, the thermal conductivity correlations for methyl oleate and methyl linoleate in the liquid phase are estimated to have a relative uncertainty of about 2.5% at a 95% confidence level.
