The X-ray diffraction structure of 2-anisyl-5-sulfonyldiphenylphosphine oxide is reported. The molecule presentstwo different types of strong covalent homonuclear charge-assisted hydrogen bonds, negative and positive, giving a monodimensionalpolymeric arrangement. Charges and electron density were calculated for the molecule conformation found by the X-ray diffractionstudies.
