To improve the conductivity of recently reported single-ioniclithium orthoaluminatecomplex polymer electrolytes, the structure of the complex unit waschanged from [Al(OR)4]-to [Al(SR)4]-, carrying a larger anionradius. The ionic conductivity of such thioaluminatepolymer complexes was about 10-5 Scm-1at room temperature, which was about102 timeshigher than that of previously reported aluminate complexes. Thesingle-ionic nature ofthioaluminate polymer complexes was confirmed by transportnumber.
