Surface-en
hanced Raman scattering (SERS) imaging
hasbeen used for the targeting and imaging of specific cancermarkers in live cells. For this purpose, Au/Ag core-shellnanoparticles, conjugated with monoclonal antibodies, were prepared. The procedures to label live cells withthose bimetallic nanoprobes
have been developed andused for highly sensitive SERS imaging of live cells. Inthe present study, live HEK293 cells expressing PLC

have been used as the optical imaging target. Our resultsdemonstrate the potential feasibility of SERS imagingtechnology for the highly sensitive imaging of cancerbiomarkers in live cells.
