A new macrocyclic ligand and the binuclearpalladium(II) complex of the ligand have been preparedand characterized. The two 2,6-bis(diaminomethyl)phenyl units coordinate to the Pd(II) centers with N,C,Ndonor atoms. Two conformational isomers of the complexwere isolated and characterized by X-ray and NMR.
