Phosphole-containing hybrid
calixpyrroles have beenprepared by acid-promoted condensation reactions.
3-Calix[1]phosphole[1]thiophene[2]pyrrole reacts with PtCl
2(COD) toafford an unusual type of macrocyclic Pt(II)-monophosphinecomplex bearing a
3-cyclooctadienyl ligand, in which thephosphole and pyrrole units bind the Pt-Cl moiety throughcooperative, noncovalent bonding interactions.
