文摘
The joint conversion of methane and propane on Mo-containing zeolite H-BEA has been studied with solid-state NMR spectroscopy and GC-MS analysis. The involvement of methane-13C in the reaction of propane aromatization to form benzene and toluene as the products has been demonstrated by 13C magic angle spinning (MAS) NMR. At the same time, GC-MS analysis has revealed that some portion of aromatic products contains carbon atoms originated from the initial methane-13C. The main pathway of the methane involvement in aromatics consists of the alkylation of aromatic molecules, which are produced from propane, by methane. Mo-n-propyl species have been detected as the probable intermediates of propane aromatization.
