In hydroxylated poly(styrene-b-butadiene-b-styrene) (HO-SBS) micelle, a series of CdSnanocrystals with different sizes have been prepared by means of simply repeating thesynthesis procedure for a definite number of cycles. A variety of techniques including elementanalysis, infrared spectroscopy (IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV-visiblespectroscopy, surface photovoltage spectroscopy (SPS), and electric field induced surfacephotovoltage spectroscopy (EFISPS) had been used for the characterization of the resultingCdS/HO-SBS nanocomposites. A reasonable energy band model was supposed to describethe electron process in the nanocomposites.
